The Research Center of the Medical Physics and rehabilitation which started its work about 1.5 years ago and is located in Imam Reza Hospital, Department of Medical Physics and Rehabilitation, has great research potentials and equipment such as isokinetic machine to measure the strength of the different muscule groups and Balance Training, both made by Biodex Company.

Other machines and devices include a treadmill to improve the cardiovascular fitness and gait training, a machine to simulate the movements of the horse or Hippotherapy which is used in the treatment of the patients with CP, backache and improvement of the patient posture.

This center is currently conducting research projects and is willing to cooperate with other departments in carrying out their research projects and provide them with services.
